125 producers, distributors, manufacturers and service industries will display and share their wares this year's Chamber of Commerce Expo. The event that has become a staple of the September celebrations was officially declared open today. The Expo's organizer Sybil Ealey says that everyone has to come out this year as the show promises everything from bargains to great food.

"It is one of the biggest events organized by the Belize Chamber of Commerce. It is a yearly event. It has been known for the past nine years as the biggest trade show for Belize and it's a perfect opportunity for our members and other businesses, who are not a part of the Chamber, to come out and showcase what they have to offer all in one place. We have over 120 booths; we have them split up into different sectors. We have mainly: manufacturing, servicing, merchandising, we have an area for the diplomatic corps, we have an area for new businesses and I would advise the public to come out, it will be a two day event of fun, so come out and see what the businesses have to offer. I am pretty sure that companies will be having good deals this year."
The expo runs for two days starting on Saturday morning.
