They are accused of mercilessly shooting meat pie vendor Efrain Perdomo Erazo in his face on Wednesday when he refused to hand over his money, and tonight Ewert Jones, Alwin Marin, and Martin Duran are all sitting in jail. The three men were arraigned in Magistrate's Court this afternoon on a charge each of attempted murder. Presiding Magistrate Margaret Gabb-McKenzie denied them bail and they remanded to prison until October 14th.

Erazo was selling meat pies on his cart on Wednesday morning (See Meat Pie Vendor Shot in the Face) when he was accosted at the corner of Boccotora and Dolphin Streets. They demanded his money and he fought back. That is when one of the trio pulled out a gun and shot Erazo at point blank range. Erazo is still recovering in the KHMH from the bullet wound which entered at the front of his face and exited at the back of his head.
