It might not square` well with his radical leftist beginnings, and that's probably why it wasn't widely publicized, but as of August 25th Prime Minister Said Musa is now properly referred to as Right Honorable. It was declared by the queen who has appointed the Prime Minister a member of the Privy Council.
We note it's not the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council, which is Belize's court of final appeal; this is the "protectors' Privy Council, whose job it is to advise the queen. It's a very high honor, conferred mostly on heads of states, but it is just that: an honorary title, because these days, the queen no longer needs much advice, apart from what hat matches what blouse.
So now, in this titular sense, the Right Honorable Musa joins Belize's other two past Prime Ministers, Right Honorables Price and Esquivel who may deem to share the club's secret handshake.
