How would you feel if you won $75,000? Most would be very pleasantly surprised, but today the woman who won the money from Scotia Bank told us she was thoroughly confused when she got the news yesterday.

"Every customer who had a $1,000 at the end of each month during the campaign got one entry into this raffle and for every new $1,000 that they deposited with us, they got two entries and it went from March to the end of June. At the end of June we had 59,000 entries into the raffle and yesterday we made the draw from among those entries and Miss Violet Gomez was the fortunate winner, lucky winner of that campaign. It was a campaign designed to assist our customers to save more and it was a very successful campaign. We saw the increase in our deposits and even know we still have quite a bit from that."
