A release says the PUC has approved the plan which will wirelessly extend coverage for telephone and high speed internet. That means services will be available to those in small rural communities which are presently out of phone or internet reach. Also, remote areas will have greater access to cellular service.
BTL says it's a $15 million investment and boasts that it's the kind that can only be made if the telecom industry is properly managed.
