Mark Seawell Arraigned for Extradition

He is wanted in the United States for drug trafficking and today Mark Seawell (Sewell) made his first appearance before a Belizean Magistrate. As we reported last night, Seawell was picked up by police yesterday and today he appeared before Chief Magistrate Margaret McKenzie. Sewell appeared undefended and was remanded to prison until March 2nd. That is when his extradition hearings are scheduled to begin.

Seawell's brother Dwayne was picked up in Jamaica last week and he has already been deported, not to Belize, but to the United States.
