First, U.S. visa applications had to be filled out online and now the Embassy has announced that now you can also make your appointment to interview for a visa online. Starting next week Monday, those wishing to interview for a visa can go to the U.S. Embassy Belize website where they will find an online appointment scheduler.
Once you fill it out, you'll get a printout with the time and date. After that, just show up with the information on the specified date at the Embassy. The Embassy says this should eliminate those numerous trips between applying, interviewing and processing.
But the bad news is for those who have difficulty finding or going an internet capable computer because by May first of this year, only those appointments scheduled online will be granted interviews.
