If, as a city resident, you're wondering why your electricity kept cutting off and on yesterday at 12:30 it's because BEL had an electrical problem all the way in Camalote Village. A company release explains that the 115kv line at the Camalote substation tripped and caused blackouts in the west and south.
Work crews found that a broken cross-arm caused the trip, and by 3:00 in the afternoon, power had been restored to all areas.
