And before we close tonight, we’ve got one story to add. During the newscast 7NEWS received a fax from Lionel Welch, the attorney for Vinod Punjabi, the owner of SP Home Depot. Referring to last night’s story about a diaper stuffed sofa set, Welch says that his client only, “heard that complaint about a few days ago...but is...investigating the matter with the manufacturer.” It continues: “whilst my client is concerned about the feelings of his customers, I have advised him that their safety have(sic.) not been endangered by the alleged findings of the pampers.” Again, we’ll have more on the developing story tomorrow.
