Body on Bluefield Identified; Cause of Death Undetermined

Police have identified the body of a man found yesterday on the Bluefield Range of Cayes, but they still don’t know how he died. The man has been identified as 45-year-old Charleston Ramirez who is from Dangriga. He worked on the Bluefield range as a watchman.

His partly decomposed body was found on the island yesterday by fishermen who were in the area. He was found in a toilet at the end of a pier. His body was transported to an area in Burrell Boom where a post mortem was performed. Because of the state of decomposition, no cause of death has been certified. Police do note that there were no bullet or other wounds which would suggest foul play was involved.
