5 weeks ago, the Heritage Bank held a virtual ceremony to commemorate its 20th Anniversary as a financial institution in Belize.

As part of that event, the bank's executives revealed that they had a signature charitable event for the year 2021. They intend to collaborate with Hand in Hand Ministries to donate 12 homes to 12 deserving customers, at a pace of 1 house per month.

Yesterday, they started delivering on that commitment by handing over a new home to the family of Keyannie Lino, who lives in the Rootsville area of Belize City. This afternoon, we got a chance to speak with 2 of the bank's representatives about it:
