There's good news for the overnight tourism sector as more airlift is coming to Belize!

Major western US airline, Alaska Air has confirmed a new non-stop service from the West Coast of the US to Belize, commencing later this year.

That will make Belize the fourth country that Alaska Airlines flies to from its West Coast hubs, joining Canada, Mexico, and Costa Rica.

A release says Alaska Airlines is the fifth largest airline in the United States when measured by fleet size, scheduled passengers carried, and the number of destinations served.

Routes and schedules to Belize will be announced when ticket sales begin in early June.
