This morning, the Department of Transportation received a significant donation to aid in road safety in Belize. 16 speed guns and 26 breathalyzers with 5,000 mouthpieces were handed over by Dr. Osmond Martinez, the CEO of the Ministry of Economic Development.

These items were acquired through a partnership between the Government of Belize and the Caribbean Development Bank. A loan received from the CDB continues to support interventions to improve and build upon the country's road safety management capacity.
