And from farming chickens to baking bread, the bakers have recently begun getting their promised subsidy, but that subsidy will expire at the end of December. It's only a six month program, so we asked the minister, what happens after that? Will the price of the 16 ounce bread increase? He explained that Cabinet will have to make that decision but added that global wheat prices have been trending downward.

"That's a matter that Cabinet has to decide, right now we are monitoring the price of wheat on the world market, we are in very close communication with those who import wheat but I must tell you that the information we received is that the price of wheat was going down on the world market which is good news, if it's going down to what it used to be, I do not know, that's why we're monitoring the prices, our Supplies Control team is always out there looking for information coming in and feeding us so that Cabinet can make an intelligent decision on this matter."
