And while Faber may not run for the UDP in Collet, in Fonseca's constituency, there are two possible UDP candidates, former Belize City Mayor, Zenaida Moya, and attorney OJ Elrington. Today when we asked the incumbent how he felt about his competition, he said his five term track record speaks for itself, and that he's not worried about whoever his opponent might be.

"To be honest with you, I hardly pay attention to what's going on in the UDP, it seems to be a complete meltdown taking place, very unfortunate for a party that has had great success and as everyone has said, we need a strong opposition, in any democratic society that's important. But I have never, I've ran five elections and won five elections, I've never focused on my opponents, I've always focused on my relationship with the Freetown community and that's what I will continue to do, I don't pay attention at all to be opponents so I'm very comfortable and very happy with the strong relationship that I enjoy and continue to enjoy with the people of Freetown."
