Inflation continued to climb in October - when it was recorded at 4%.

Food and alcoholic beverages was the biggest driver of that with an inflation rate of 11.5% for that sector.

A scan of the prices encountered by the Statistic Institute of Belize shows evaporated milk going up 43.6%, lime going up 47%, cilantro going up 120%(!), plantain going up 73.7% and oranges going up 34%.
