Tonight police are looking for a white van and its passengers after a daring ATM theft last night. It happened at the PUMA gas station off faber's Road. Jules Vasquez has been looking at the surveillance video:

It was business as usual at this Puma Super 7 store today at the corner of Faber'sRoad and the George Price Highway.

But look inside and something big is missing. Last night, thieves stole the entire Heritage Bank ATM Machine.

Security video from the gas station obtained by 7news shows the burglars tying a chain unto the ATM Machine - and then using a van to haul it out of the wall. It gave way in seconds, sailing across the floor, like a surfboard. And then the three robbers, wearing hoodies and masks, trundled it into the back of the van which pulled right up to the door.

Now, this surely made a terrific noise, you can even see sparks as the chain raked past the door. But, no one was alerted and the van made off into the night.

The almost sophisticated burglary was not discovered until the manager went to open it this morning at 5:30. Police are looking for suspects - and believe it could be related to a similar theft which happened.

Notably, in this case, the gas staton's security system was not activated at closing time last night..

Heritage Bank today confirmed to us that the contents of the ATM are insured, but it does not have a tracking device. Police have at least one known suspect tonight and are looking at a number of white vans - including one found abandoned behind Hopkins village.
