But the only price that the sugar industry commission of inquiry is looking at is the price that farmers get for their sugar cane. That commission is now in operation and Minister Musa - who chaired the Cabinet Subcommittee on Sugar told us more.

"I wouldn't want to necessarily put a timeline on it I know the urgency of it in terms of modernizing the industry and making recommendations that could modernize the industry and so while it is that it has just started I know that there are lots of issues that need to be addressed while it is hopeful that they can finish by November I won't necessarily want to restrict them I think that they are all very professional individuals who have been appointed to the commission and I'm sure that they are aware of the urgency but at the same time doing a very comprehensive review of the industry."
