Tonight in Argentina, Belize's under 18 male national basketball team is recovering from a humiliating loss to the boys team ranked #1 in the world.
The US team put what may be a historic shellacking on the Belize boys this afternoon - beating them by a jaw dropping 96 points - 150 to 54.
Right out the gate, the Belize team went down big - 21 to nil and never recovered. They were outsized and outmatched by the team that is expected to go undefeated in the tournament.
Belize faces host country Argentina tomorrow.
