Portico Developer David Gegg made some major revelations when he testified in two different sessions before the special select committee.

But - as we told you last night - he already backed off from one of them. Gegg had testified that he sent the definitive agreement to the Prime Minister and 4 cabinet ministers right after the 2020 election. But he now says he put the wrong email address for the Prime Minister - and sent the mail to "jbreceno" and not BRIceno.

Well, he seems to have also gaffed with the email for the Minister of Tourism - or at least that's what Gegg said in a sheepish letter sent to the clerk of the National Assembly on Friday.

Likely getting threats - legal or otherwise - Gegg tells the clerk that he also made a mistake when sending the mail to the Minister of Tourism Anthony Mahler. In that one, he failed to attach the definitive agreement. Gegg adds that at no time was the agreement delivered to Mahler.

The tourism Minister has maintained that the first time he saw the agreement was when it went to Cabinet in May of 2023 and that's when he led the charge in rejecting it.
