And while that may or may not happen sometime in the future, the fact is that right now, there is no Starlink operation that we could find in Belize. Jaleeza Roberts went looking for their office:
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation that provides high-speed, low-latency broadband to over 150 countries - notably Belize isn't on their current map.
And they are licensed providers in Belize for satellite internet.
This public notice for Starlink belize LLC says that their address is 56 Daly street. Their application states that as Saly street but that's probably just a typo.
We went to 56 Daly Street and we saw Quijano and Associates upstairs and The Jewelry Hub downstairs.
We were met by Caludio Vellos coming out of the Quijano office who told us she is only an agent and we need to send an email requesting information and she can run it by her client. Who is the client? Well, we couldn't get those details either.
We also tried to reach the contact listed on their PUC application, Juan Velez - who has a Miami telephone number but he did not respond to our inquiry.
