And going now to the Speednet acquisition, as we told you yesterday, the number for that company's gross revenue has only been publicized by members of the PUP northern and western caucuses - as $40 million dollars.
However, as we showed you last night, the 1.5% annual license fee they paid to the PUC between 2016 and 2019 suggested their gross revenues were in the range of only 11 to 15 million dollars.
So are the caucuses working with faulty information, or was Speednet underreporting? We asked the PM today.
Courtney Menzies:
"We've been hearing this number for the gross revenue for Speednet is at $40 million however leaked documents show that when the pay their 1.5% license fee, when we do our math, it only comes up to about $13-$15 million so we're not sure whether this $40 million is accurate."
John Briceno, Prime Minister

"Stop believing your spin. As far as I know, I don't know, but I don't see how you can go from $40 to $13 million so I don't know. But I don't see that being true."
Courtney Menzies:
"Sir the BCCI is calling for an independent valuation of Speednet, would you support this?"
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"But I think that has already been done, it was an independent valuation that was done."
Courtney Menzies:
"They're saying it's not an independent valuation."
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Guys, allow the process to go through and then we can see what's going to happen."
Courtney Menzies:
"Regarding my..."
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"I don't want to continue arguing."
Courtney Menzies:
"Sir but is Speednet underreporting its gross revenues when it files for its license fee?"
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"You really want me to answer that question?"
Courtney Menzies:
"I would yes."
John Briceno, Prime Minister
"Okay..."
