Last night we told you about Belize Petrospirits, the company that imported fuel into the Big Creek Port without getting the proper permits. We also show you this "no objection" letter from the Ministry of Finance, giving its blessing to the company as a fuel importer and wholesaler.
That letter was addressed to Director and shareholder Johnathan D'Silva. Well, today D'Silva contacted our newsroom to say that he's no longer with the company. He says, quote, "I am clarifying for the record that in June 2025 I resigned from the company (Belize Petro Spirits) surrendering all shareholding which was registered at the BCCAR. Any decisions regarding the company are therefore unknown to me as I exited completely." End quote.
He provided a detailed extract from the company which shows that Mingpei Chen as of December 2025 is the sole shareholder of Belize Petrospirits.
