They were drug mules: that's the conclusion police have reached about the sudden deaths of 28 year old Epitacio Navarro and 46 year old Michael Usher. But there is a twist, the drugs they carried in their intestines was not heroin, it is now believed to be cocaine. Today police pathologist Dr. Mario Estradabran conducted a post mortem on usher's body which certified that he died because packets of what is suspected to be cocaine inside his intestines burst open, leading to the equivalent of a massive drug overdose, the same cause of death as Navarro. At the end of the Usher post mortem police retrieved 39 intact condoms along with the remains of other packets that had ruptured. The drugs weighed in at 342 gram, or just over 12 ounces. Today Usher's brother, Errol told us that on his trip home from Oakland to bury a dead brother, this was the least he could have expected.

Errol Usher,
"I don't know what to say I am still waiting to get the death certificate because we haven't seen the death certificate yet. I don't have nothing else to tell you right now."

Alfonso Noble,
What have police told you?

Errol Usher,
"Which police?"

Alfonso Noble,
The policemen that have been investigating the case.

Errol Usher,
"I am waiting for them to bring the death certificate to see what it is. I can't really tell you anything else right now."

Alfonso Noble,
Have they told you if anything was found inside your brother that was not supposed to be in there?

Errol Usher,
"I can't tell you that right now, I can't tell you that right now."

Alfonso Noble,
Are you in a state of shock?

Errol Usher,
"Yeah kind of."

Alfonso Noble,
And this is left field from anything you came to Belize for?

Errol Usher,
"Well actually I came because he died and it could have been anything so you got to expect the unexpected. He died and he is dead."

Again, police have confirmed that the substance in the Epitacio Navarro was cocaine and not heroin, but tests are yet to be conducted on the substance in young's intestines. Police are now looking for a third man who is believed to have also brought in drugs along with the pair, from Panama. He survived, and is still at large.
