24-year-old Bludgeoned in Dangriga Knife Murder

A man was stabbed to death in Dangriga and police have detained the man they believe is his killer. Around 1:00 this morning, two men, 24-year-old Dave Nunez and a 21 year old got into a violent fight in the Wagierale Area of Dangriga town. Both men had reportedly been drinking and the disagreement escalated when the 21 year old pulled a knife. He cut and stabbed Nunez multiple times to the face, neck and body.

When police arrived at the scene, Nunez was bleeding profusely, and by the time they got him to the Southern Regional Hospital, he was dead. The 21 year old has been detained, but not charged.
