Cop Threatens Wife With Gun

A police officer in Cayo has been charged after he allegedly threatened his wife with a gun. Around 5 this morning, police were called to P.C. Oscar Quiroz's home. His wife Janeen told them that Quiroz had hit her and then showed her two live rounds for a 22 pistol. Police searched the home and found a 22-derringer pistol. The gun is unlicensed and Quiroz has been charged for keeping an unlicensed firearm. He won't face any domestic abuse charges because his wife asked that no charges be brought. Still, PC Quiroz has been placed on interdiction pending the outcome of the hearing.
