A 12-year-old boy from Faber's Road in Belize City has been missing from home for the past 2 weeks. The boy's mother Louise Dixon says her son left home on Monday the 2nd of January after having lunch and she hasn't seen him since. Tonight, this mother is gravely concerned for her pre-teen son, and is begging anyone who may have seen him to please help.

"He doesn't have any problem or nothing and he just bathe and got ready to eat and he went to school. He came back twelve o'clock and when he went back he never returned."

"He's done this before but I don't know why he did it this time. I just want him to come back home. I don't know where he is but I just don't want anyone to hurt him. I want to tell him to come back home. I just can't take it no more and I just came out of hospital Tuesday, I'm sick, and I just want to tell the people that if they have him at their place, just feel how a mother feels, how I am feeling right now. And if they find him, don't have him at their place. He had on a blue shirt and a gray pants and a black tennis and his school bag and he and a rosary around his neck and one little mole under his left eye. He is a clear skinned guy, he is kind of stout. If they see him, all I want them to do is to call 670-1593."
Dixon admits that her son is in the habit of leaving home for days on end but this is the first time that he has been away for such an extended time.
