In the news tonight we've told you about two men sent to jail for violent crimes against women. And tonight, another man, this one a lawman is on the run for what could have been a deadly assault.
Police say that on Friday night Tourism Police Constable Charles Grant had a dispute with his common-law-wife. Hours later, at 1:00 on Saturday, he wanted to find her but she wasn't at home. So he went to her brother, 37 year old Luis Barona's home on Dolphin Street making threats with a with a gun. But he didn't find his wife there, and grant turned up three hours later at his own home in Lock's Alley and fired a single shot through a window of the home, just narrowly missing his 19 year old step daughter who was inside. It missed the young lady but the shot did destroy the television set. After that wild burst of gunfire, grant went on the run, and police are asking anyone who's seen him to please call the nearest police station. The Police Department did not provide any picture to help you with that I.D.
