Deliverymen Beat Off Robber

A pair of butane gas deliverymen beat off a would be robber yesterday morning. 21-year-old Miguel Mendez told police that around 11 am he and his sideman were delivering gas on new road when almost out of nowhere a male assailant approached and tried to grab the money from his hands. That is when Mendez's sideman came to the rescue. He found a pipe and beat the robber with it. That sent the thief running. Police later caught up with 23 year old Loren Everett who has since been charged with attempted robbery and harm.
