A burglar picked the wrong place to steal from last night and for his mistake, he was shot. 26-year-old businessman Lyndon Gentle reported to police that at around midnight he went to his house that is under construction on Hyde's Street to check up on it. When he arrived he found a man removing material from the site. The midnight mover was stealing, and gentle drew his licensed 9-millimeter pistol and shot the man to the right foot. The suspect was able to flee from the scene but police conducted a search in the area and found him hiding nearby. He was picked up and taken to the KHMH where he is being held under guard. Police have not indicated if there will be any charges brought against Gentle.
