49-year-old Rafael Auguet today appeared in Magistrate's Court to answer to charges of burglary. Auguet a resident of Burrell Boom appeared after he was charged with burglarizing the Ridge Lagoon Estate, the home of Heinrich Klassen. In court today Auguet pleaded guilty but with an explanation. He told the Magistrate that he indeed entered the home but he did so after he knocked on the door and the door swung open. He says his intention was not to steal anything rather he was there trying to sell tamarind fruits. The Magistrate did not buy the story and sentenced Auget to 5 years in prison.
