\"Granny Musa\" Passes

Funeral services were held today for the Prime Minister's mother, Aurora Musa. The 87 year old passed away on Saturday evening at 6:30 at home. She died from cancer related complications.

Funeral services were held this morning at St. Mary's Church where it was standing room only inside the church grounds as hundreds of mourners and well wishers gathered to pay their respects to Mrs. Musa and the Prime Minister. The homily was delivered by Canon Leroy Flowers and Anglican Bishop Phillip Wright was in attendance.

"Granny Musa" as she was known was the matriarch of the Musa family, with 8 children, over fifty grand and great-grandchildren. She was buried at the Lord's Ridge Cemetery.
