Police have discovered the remains of a 66-year-old Guatemalan national, but they can't say what killed him. Late Friday evening, police were called out to a farm some 3 miles west of the Hopkins junction on the Southern Highway where the found the body of Leandro Ortiz. He was found near to the entrance of a small hut in which he lived. There was no sign of struggle or any evidence to suggest a robbery. Because of the state of decomposition of the body a post mortem examination was unable to determine the cause of death. However since the body bore no apparent signs of violence and the scene did not suggest any foul play investigators are treating it as a sudden death.
