Businesses that deal in heavy volumes of cash continue to be the target for armed robbers. Yesterday morning they hit the Bottom Dollar Store for $28,000 and last night it was Baymen Cable for $10,000. Baymen Cable employee Anthony Logan says that around 7:30 he was inside the office when two men entered. The men were armed and Logan says they demanded money and he handed over $10,000. The men then escaped. Police are looking at the story carefully since Baymen's office closes at 5:30 pm. As it relates to the other robberies, police don't believe they are being committed by the same gang of criminals, but they could have a common purpose: that is, the police say, getting their hands on cash so they can purchase found cocaine that's been flooding the market.
