The Football Federation of Belize held an extra-ordinary general meeting on Saturday and just about everyone was there except the President Dr. Bertie Chimilio.

As we told you last week, 1st Vice-President Ray Davis along with two other execs were suspended for allegedly breaking into the office on June 9th and allegedly assaulting the caretaker while Chimilio was in Germany for the World Cup. The Davis faction says Belmopan, Cayo, and Stann Creek associations called for a general meeting. But when Chimilio returned to the country he refused to sanction the meeting.

Well it went on anyway on Saturday with 1st first vice-president Ray Davis and had the presence of George Brown from the Olympic and Commonwealth Games Association. The main topic was election of a new executive but it was delayed to a future meeting.

The only thing Ray Davis would tell us today is that meeting was held in accordance with FFB regulations. FFB President Dr. Bertie Chimilio he knows nothing about the meeting and won't comment.
