Two Girls Raped in San Roman Village

And tonight, hideous acts of sexual offences against young girls continue to be reported. First police are reporting that on Sunday July 30th, two girls, one 17 and the other 12 were returning home after going to purchase items at shop in a San Roman Village in the Corozal District. As they were making their way home they were approached by two men inside a vehicle who offered them a ride home. They accepted but instead of taking them home the men drove to a remote area in the village where they raped them. Two suspects have been detained pending further investigations.
