Fiesta FM Deejay Charged For Rape

Fiesta FM, it's the radio station owned by Johnny Briceno's family media group in Orange Walk and tonight one of its announcers is under a heavy cloud of suspicion. Popular Spanish language radio personality Victor Manuel Contreras was arraigned in Orange Walk Magistrate's Court yesterday, accused of raping a 15-year-old girl. Last week, the teenager went to police with her 35-year-old mother to make the complaint. The child claims that in early June she visited Fiesta FM on Clark Street and Contreras pulled her into a back room in the station and raped her. The matter is complicated by the fact that the child is now pregnant. A medical examiner confirmed that she is in her twentieth week. 45-year-old Contreras was arrested by PC Glenda Nicholson and charged for rape. He was arraigned yesterday and received bail.
