After twenty-one days in lockdown at Price Barracks, cardiologist John Gough was released this morning. Gough, who is a BDF volunteer soldier, was tried and convicted of desertion of duty. Gough also faces a two-month suspension without pay. Gough has already appealed to the security serves commission. He has reportedly been offered a job as the head of the Accident and Emergency Unit at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital. It's left to be seen if the BDF will decide that he must serve out his contracted time with the army.
