Police aren't releasing his name but tonight 7NEWS can confirm that Avondale Trumbach known as 'Hog Bone' is wanted for Monday afternoon's shooting rampage on Euphrates Avenue. Kevin Parks was killed, his uncle Charles Moss was critically wounded, and a third man was injured when a gunman hunted down Parks at 2:30 in the afternoon. Police say Trumbach is the prime suspect. His mother Karen Trumbach called 7_NEWS_ today to tell us that police are hunting down her son for no good reason. She claims she doesn't know where her son is but Karen swears he is innocent. She says when Kevin Parks was being killed, Avondale was taking a bath.

"I was in Belize City. I came in 11:30 from Dangriga. I sat down inside my son's house until a quarter to four before I needed to go back and catch my bus. When I left to go to Beauty Plaza to go buy one arm roll and a slippers for my daughter, Press Cadogan met me and told me that they had just shot somebody on Euphrates and asked if it was my son. I said I know it wasn't because I left him home bathing. When I came back from Beauty Plaza, my son was just coming out of the bathroom and asked for a towel so my son is innocent so Paloma can't say my son is guilty. My son is innocent. I am tired of this. My son spent so many months in jail, two years and change, on two charge they gave him which he knows nothing about. Tomorrow makes one month since he came out and I don't want it to happen at all. I am not on that."

"I don't know where my son is but I know, I came to Belize and I haven't met him since I got here but my son is innocent. This is what I want the media to know, please Mr. Paloma, take my son name out of this thing. Try and find who it is and they exactly who it is. They say they saw two masked man, my son has a lot of dread. If my son was under a mask, how would his dread be under any mask."

"He knew Kevin Parks."

"Not that I know of because they grew up together."

So your son would have no reason to kill...
Karen Trumbach,
"No reason because my son just came out of jail. Kevin wasn't even here when my son came out of jail. My son was in jail for over two years and tomorrow makes one month that he will be out."

You said you don't know where your son is, is he hiding from police?
Karen Trumbach,
"He is not hiding from police as far as I know because he is innocent but the police came way to (Gales Point) Manatee to come ask me for him and I told them I don't know. I want them to leave my son alone please because my son is innocent."
Avondale Trumbach was released from jail last month after a murder charge for the 2003 killing of Shawn Clother was thrown out.
