Yesterday afternoon, a child was crushed beneath a bus in Independence Village. At around 4:30, 36-year-old Liston Parham, a driver for James' Bus, ran over 4 year old Shaneke Ramclam. It occurred on Fadden Avenue where the small child fell under his back wheel and the driver didn't notice until he felt that he had driven over something. The child died instantly, and Parham has been held pending charges.
