There is a major update to report tonight in Jesenia Cook's search for her six-year-old daughter. Last night Jesenia made a passionate plea for her daughter Zoe who she believed was kidnapped by the child's father 63 year old American national Richard Cook. After our story last night, her worst fears were confirmed.
Jesenia says she got a call which confirmed that her estranged husband left Belize and he did so with 6-year-old Zoe. As we reported last night, under a court ordered interim custody arrangement, Richard Cook picked up Zoe from school and was supposed to return her on Sunday evening but he didn't. Richard left the country along with Zoe on Saturday enroute to Miami. Zoe traveled with her American passport.
Jesenia Cook says she will now begin the formidable task of finding her daughter and getting her back home. We'll keep following the story.
