Who killed journalist Richard Hulse and why? One week after he was found dead, stabbed 40 to fifty times, police still don't have answers. Today three persons who had been detained for questioning were released from custody without yielding any useful information. But now Hulse's colleagues in the media are doing their part to help find the killer.
Channel 7, Channel 5, KREM TV, The Reporter and Amandala newspapers, and Love FM and KREM Radio are the members of the recently formed Belize Independent Media Association. They have put together to offer a reward of $5,000 for information which leads to the arrest and charging of the person or persons responsible for Hulse's murder.
Crime Stoppers has added another $1,000, so the reward is $6,000. Anyone with information can call 0-800-922-TIPS, that's 0-800-922-8477.
