Life in Prison for Edward Barahona

On February 13th Edward Barahona was found guilty of the daylight murder of David Vasquez.

Today Barahona appeared before Supreme Court Justice Troadio Gonzalez where he was sentenced.

After hearing a mitigation plea from Barahona's attorney, Justice Gonzalez sentenced Barahona to life imprisonment. He noted that because of the nature of the crime he was not warranted in giving him the death penalty.
