A 34-year-old man has been charged with grievous harm and aggravated assault upon a 9-year-old girl. Arnfield Blanco appeared in court to answer to charges after the girl reported to police that on Saturday March 3rd Blanco sexually assaulted her.
She says she was at home sleeping when Blanco came to her house under the pretence that he was doing a favor for the girl's mother. But instead of doing that, he forced himself on the girl in the living room.
A medical examination has classified the injuries on the 9 year old as grievous harm. He appeared in court today where he was arraigned and was remanded to custody until March 15th.
