Unions Reject Government's Offer to Mediate

Appeasement rejected and ultimatums not met! That's the final decision taken by the NTUCB after an executive meeting last night.

So what will the unions do? Well, that's the question. Executive members were mum this evening and say they will reserve all comments until a press conference tomorrow afternoon. Yesterday, the Minister of Labor extended an olive branch to the National Trade Union Congress of Belize in which it assured that the firing of BTL employees would be investigated within a set timeline.
