And this morning in San Pedro, police also picked up 34-year-old U.S. citizen Dusty Chandler. U.S. law enforcement officers claim Chandler had been hiding out in San Pedro for three weeks. They issued a warrant which claimed that he had manufactured and sold the drug "crystal meth" and then ran away when police in Arkansas were closing in on him.

He was captured by the Crimes Intelligence Unit this morning and flown out today.

And one more man wanted in North America didn't have to be captured. Jean la Fluer willingly went back to Canada where he turned himself into police.

The former advertising company executive faces 35 counts of fraud, totaling $1.58 million, in relation to a political scandal in Ottawa. He had been between Belize and Costa Rica since 2006. He had lived quietly in a residence on Northern Ambergris Caye.
