Will Dean Boyce go to jail for not properly reinstating Christine Perriot? That's now a question that the Supreme Court will have to decide.

Two weeks ago, the Supreme Court ordered BTL to re-instate Christine Perriot as a technician at BTL. BTL says it has re-instated her, or her salary at least, and the company claims she's being paid not to come to work. But according to Perriot's attorney, that just won't cut it; and more than that, it's contempt of court.

Lois Young Barrow is satisfied that re-instatement means more than just being on the payroll; it means being physically re-Instated at one's place of work. And so she's going to court on Tuesday to ask the court to find BTL Chairman of the Executive Committee Dean Boyce in contempt for not properly re-instating Perriot. Young Barrow is asking the court to make a committal order, which is asking basically to send Dean Boyce to jail for acting in contempt of the court's order!

This morning at 7:00, Boyce was served at his home with the court order for Perriot's re-instatement. It warns Boyce: "if BTL fails to comply, it will be in contempt of court, and you Dean Boyce…may be liable to be imprisoned or have your assets seized."

BTL is expected to argue that it has reinstated her and the arguments are expected to center over the definition of reinstatement. As it stands right now, she is not permitted to enter any BTL building.

High stakes and it goes to court on Tuesday and 7NEWS will be there.
