His job is to enforce traffic laws but three teenage girls are telling police that 33-year-old transport officer Dale Buckley forced himself on them. The disturbing allegations were made by three female high school students who were on office practice at the Transport Department on Freetown Road.
The girls all tell basically the same story - that Buckley hugged and squeezed them in an inappropriate manner. They say one of the incidents occurred on April 3rd and two occurred on May 7th.
Today in court Buckley was charged with 3 counts of aggravated assault. He pleaded not guilty and was released on bail of $4,000. Bail is on the condition that he doesn't go anywhere near the complainants. He is due back in court on June 21.
