And while Sacassa told us he knows which area his shooter comes from, that's pretty much the same story that residents of Central American Boulevard gave us today after a broad daylight shooting. Just before noon today, one of the most trafficked areas of the boulevard near Archie's was witness to the sound of a sting of gunshots being fired at a closed zinc gate. David Phillips was one of the people inside that fence and he says he doesn't know why they shot at him.

David Phillips, Shot At
"Two men rode passed on their bikes and fired shots for no reason. We weren't doing those young boys anything."

Jules Vasquez,
You must have some beef with them or something.

David Phillips,
"No I don't have any beef with them."

Jules Vasquez,
So they just hauled up and opened fire?

David Phillips,
"Those young boys don't care, they don't have anything to live for. I have a daughter to live for and nobody won't take my life simple. Supposed we retaliate back? We won't do that, we are love.

I ran so and I when one of the bullets passed me I felt the breeze of the bullet. If I had gotten hit, I wouldn't stand up, I would be down. Why do those young bwoys want to take our lives and we haven't done them anything. We used to hang together, play ball together back in the days. Those young bwoys just started tripping off of colors, that material stuff, the cloth - the simple cloth those young boys are tripping off of."

Police have made no arrests in that shooting.
