He claims he was beaten by a policeman with a baton for no good reason and today 24 year old Austin Stevens showed us the bruises to prove it. Stevens says that police went to his home on Jane Usher Boulevard and was hassling his brother. Austin says that is when he jumped in and when a police officer went crazy with his baton.

"I arrived and I asked the police officer why would he lash my brother because my brother's house has in everything and we don't have to thief to buy things to put in our house, we are working hard for our money and this police just flew on the street and lashed me in my chest about three times, and lashed me in my back too. They shoved me and my brother in a police vehicle and took us to the station and locked us down. I told them to charge us but they didn't have any charge for us and they released us about 1 am in the morning."

Austin Stevens,
"Yes sir, I have the bruise in my chest still yet where the man lashed me in my chest. Those police can't be coming to chance man for nothing. The criminals who are on the street they don't lash them but they come and lash innocent people who are working so please talk to those policemen who are getting out of hand, please."
Stevens says he will file a report with the Police Department's Internal Affairs Bureau.
